Old Arcadians are a Grimsby based band, born early 2009.
After the split of 07's Road To V winning band THE BRIGHTLIGHTS, ex members Luke Parker and Adam Featherstone decided to move onto other musical ventures, pursuing their co-writing ambitions to a higher level.
Following a well earned break of two years constant gigging in some of the UK's most established venues, including V festivals Channel 4 stage and Richard Bransons backyard...They decided it was time to get back writing and reliving the dream they had once helped at building.
Many months of happy go lucky rehearsels passed, until local band cast away drummer Josh Allington quickly joined the songwriting duo, instantly falling in love with the premature sound that was developing.
Shortly after, close friend Royce Carmichael tried out on rythm guitar, contributing perfectly and adding another small unique blend of what the band we're striving to be.
Just when the search for the final missing piece seemed hopeless, previously unknown auditionist Lewis Duckworth triumphantly walked his way into the final lineup. With his flawless debut bass playing skills and passionate youthful like charisma, he added the last element to what were to be...Old Arcadians.
